I want to know if someone would re-write the Paypal module to allow for redirection to a credit card service provider such as specifically Cardsave please.

I am happy to pay a reasonable rate for this job.

I would also consider paying for some modifications to the shopping cart structure, as follows:

a) produce the same functionality as the current Paypal-based shopping cart software, plus ...

b) allow me (as Administrator):
(i) to apply discount voucher codes in "view cart" - see note A below;
(ii) to apply multi-buy discounts in "view cart";
(iii) to apply regular visitor discounts in "view cart";
(iv) to apply shipping rates based on best price for size, weight and destination - see note B below;
(v) to add, amend, block, unblock and delete users manually - see note C below;
(vi) to add, amend, suspend, un-suspend and delete products manually - see note D below;
(vii) to download / upload the inventory as an Excel spreadsheet;
(viii) to download / upload the customer records as an Excel spreadsheet;

c) On checkout pass the order value to the payment gateway to handle credit card processing;

d) On successful payment notify me by screen pop-up and warning tone (a bit like Skype on the corner of the screen) and by email of the full order details;

e) On payment failure, notify me by email and flag the client record.

NOTES:

A. Discount voucher codes

Discount voucher codes will identify the client (where he is returning with a discount code) or the referrer (where the referee is using a discount code). Each client's identity must be recorded against the other client to track performance.

B. Shipping rates

I use Royal Mail (www.royalmail.com). Most paper items are packed in a C3 or C4 board back envelope. Block board mounted fine art prints are packed in a padded cardboard box. I will provide all weights, measurements and destinations in an Excel table to the successful bidder.

C. User records

I will supply all user record fields in an Excel spreadsheet to the successful bidder. IP address capture and validation against shipping address is required.

D. Product records

I will provide all product record fields in an Excel spreadsheet. Suffice to say if you are familiar with Amazon's shopping fields, these will be a subset.

This is currently up on freelancer.com but I'd rather keep it in the family, so to speak.

Any takers please?

Kind regards

Your standard employment terms might be an issue

Anyway, I believe all of those requirements, including Royal Mail Postage and specifically, CardSave payment processing, can be handled using the Zencart <-> Gallery2 integration module.
