There is indeed an issue with this.
Unfortunately, I am just rushing out the door and will have to solve this later.
Thanks for reporting the issue.

now i am getting forbidden access with when i press please click here to download.
got really excited there.

Pull back on the excitement lest you be disappointed!
Should be fine now though.
I changed my setup to always use "www." as it allows me to easily run a cookieless subdomain for static items but didn't realise I had so many bits here and there that needed updating (since webkit browsers on my Mac seem to be more resilient to errors and manage to display while stuff on Windows falls over)
So thanks for flagging the issue.

i am now having the same problem as dj tiesto
everything looked great added the code to the main.php.
when finish i see embed token missing.
tryed the link i gave to the url and it doesnt work what should be my next step?

Make sure you have followed the installation steps exactly as in the codex.
Sometimes, people implement what they consider to be equivalent to a step, or set of steps, but that is not the same thing.
So print out a copy of the codex page and tick off the steps if necessary especially on the Joomla side of things.

OK uninstall everything and delete the main.php edit.
Folloewed the installation steps exactly as the codex. Again receive the embed token missing error.
the joomla url still does not work. Http://www.website.net/gallery2/
and when going to gallery2(by gallery2/main.php) admin i would have to login through joomla - which then keeps me in joomla.
comeing from Joomla 1.5 and useing g2bridge for joomla (maybe the reason why the joomla 1.5 stop working).
I really like how i was able to link gallery to joomla and have a menu link which displayed the gallery2 inside the my joomla website.
From my expectations i thought this would do the same replaceing it.
"Help! I was confused with what to input in the following areas. Here is an exaple of what i put.Indciated with ***starting and ending***
-Joomla!
-Make sure the Joomla! Administrator has the same User Name, Full Name and Email as the Gallery2 Administrator.
-Install the Joomg2 component (com_joomg2.zip).
-Create a menu item as an external url pointing to your gallery2 l/ocation (without "main.php") from the Joomla! Administration interface.
***http://www.website.net/gallery2/*** ID 307
Note the item id of the menu item as it will be needed later
Install, configure and enable the Gallery2 Authentication Plugin (gallery2_auth.zip).
You will need to provide the full server path to the Gallery2 folder (Note: Leave out the "main.php")
***/home/content/00/0000000/html/gallery2/***"
"Gallery2
Make sure the Gallery2 Administrator has the same User Name, Full Name and Email as the Joomla! Administrator.
Make sure the elements required to the installed in Joomla! have been completed.
Make sure both the RefineHTML and G2Drupal modules are not active
Unpack the module file (joomg2.zip) to the "gallery2/modules/" folder.
Install, configure and activate.
You will need the item id of Joomla External Menu item from earlier
***/home/content/00/000000/html/***
Unpack events.zip into the "gallery2/lib/" folder
Around Line 528 of gallery2/main.php is ... "
if there is somethign i did not input correctly.

Perhaps the issue is because from your post, the Joomla menu item id is "307" but you write that you entered "/home/content/00/000000/html/" as Item Id.
Can you confirm this? I think the code checks to make sure the value entered is numeric though so should not be possible anyway.
The "Embed token missing" error means that JoomG2 module could not find the specific token needed that indicates a page generated by Joomla's com_joomg2 component into which it can insert G2 html.
There are a few possible reasons for this:
1. The com_joomg2 component was correctly installed and called but is not generating the token expected by the JoomG2 module.
2. The com_joomg2 component was correctly installed but another joomla page is getting called. this can be either because
a. The module code has a bug
b. The user entered an incorrect ID into the module admin
c. The user incorrectly created the external menu link
3. The com_joomg2 component was correctly installed but was not activated after installation
4. The com_joomg2 component was incorrectly installed
5. The user entered an incorrect Joomla path into the module admin
Items 1 and 2a will be my fault so we'll assume it is not the case
Items 2b, 2c, 3, 4 and 5 will be the user's fault so we'll assume it has to be one of those.
There are some clean ups that may be needed if reinstalling so actually completely uninstall the module in the G2 admin before tying again.

I used 307 in the Id Item
and i believe this is waht i am looking for and which seems to not be working.
I used the correct id which is 307.
Details
Menu Item Type * External URL
Menu Title * Photo Gallery
Link http://www.duzktilldawn.net/gallery2/
Note
Status Published
Access Public
Menu Location * Main Menu
Parent Item Menu Item Root
Ordering Photo Gallery
Target Window Parent
Language All
Template Style Default
ID 307
Correctly installed and activated.
installed correctly if not would not be able to install.
should chnage 3 and 4
was questioned about this at first found the path in joomla and also use a findpath php to find path.
I am mostly leaning towards 2c thinking that the link mabe wrong some out but still unsure!
i did unistall and made sure the file was not in the modules folder.
IF there is sometign else i cna try let me know.

Not quite sure what is going on.
1. The link you gave above, http://www.duzktilldawn.net/gallery2/, generates a 404 not found error. I.E., it doesn't exist
2. You do have G2 embedded using what seems to be some other means at http://www.duzktilldawn.net/photo-gallery/
I can see that com_joomg2 is properly installed and generating the required output for the module.
Can you clarify the two points first though?

OK. I get the second point which I believe is a com_g2bridge integration. Unfortunately, a favourite of hackers due to an LFI vulnerability: http://forum.joomla.org/viewtopic.php?p=2173252
The question is now one of where the G2 installation is since the link you gave does not exist. There must be a G2 installation somewhere though since the integration with g2bridge is functional.
Should be easy to change the photo-gallery menu item to point to joomg2, put in the correct paths in the G2 admin and disable com_g2bridge.

1. it was giveing that error.
2. g2 is embedded but not using JoomG2 I am using Jfusion. it worked somethign simiar to how g2bridge works.
thank you for your time would of love to use your program.

Something a bit funky with your installation. The G2 path returns a 404 error unless "main.php" is explicitly added.
http://www.duzktilldawn.net/gallery2/ gives an error and G2 does not run unless you explicitly have http://www.duzktilldawn.net/gallery2/main.php or http://www.duzktilldawn.net/gallery2/index.php
This is a server misconfiguration ... your server is not configured to recognise index.php as an index file and I am not sure what the impact of that is on the module.
By the way, you don't need to use joomg2 if jfusion is working fine.

I i was thinking about that also. thats why i was kinda confuse in your installation when you say do not add main.php.
When i see your website assuming that you homepage is g2 i said i had to have it. G2 was my first choice since 5 days ago maybe more. i have been planing on moveing this person to 1.5 to 1.7 for the longest but an unexpected problem has caused me to move it now.
Thanks for your support would of really loved to get to use your modules and componets.
