CPU and memory usage in other place than Linux system

Hello.

I have a Qnap that have a small CPU and memory.

I love Gallery, so easy to use.

But I have a problem, slow...very slow to upload the photos and convert them to var directories.

Is there any tool that allow me to use my Windows CPU and memory to do this job (ipload and convert photos) and then I could ftp to the server or export directly to Gallery 3.

Please...any one knows if there is any idea for this.
