I have the Mysql datatables from an older, uninstalled Gallery-2.0.2 installation. I want to install a new version of Gallery. The closest version in the upgrade path for 2.0.2 is 2.2.6. Using the Upgrade Wizard from 2.2.6 produces this error during the "Upgrade the Gallery Core Module". The Upgrade Wizard log file is attached.

There was an extreme shift in gallery core from 2.0 to 2.1
Your upgrade path should include 2.0 -> 2.1 -> 2.2.6 -> 2.3.1
