Setting a default album cover during upload

Hello

Is there a way to set a default cover album picture for an album without user intervention? To get around the lack of advanced permission options ive given my users the ability to add albums and pictures but not Edit rights meaning they cant set album covers. This gets round the issue of them not being able to delete other users pictures but means the album looks messy as no albums have cover art set without an admin going in afterwards and setting them.

It doesnt have to have any logic to it, just the first picture in the album would be fine.
