Move Sidebar items to custom menus?

Hi all,

apologies in advance if this has been discussed, I can't find it by searching thus far. What I'd like to do is put some sidebar items, such as "view full size" and "download" in the custom menu within the header instead of the sidebar. Is this possible? I'm not really a coder, so my ability to dig into this too far myself and come out with results is limited.
