Problem with thumbnails no photo visible

I had major problems with my web site and so I recently had to convert to the cloud environment but now when I upload the main photo is there but not the thumbnail. I have tried searching around but as someone who is not good with knowing what to do I can't seem to figure it out. I am wondering if it is the Magic program that needs to be reinstalled but can't figure how to do it. I am using an old version of gallery - I believe 1.5 - because I am afraid that if I try upgrading it will not work as I have a lot of photos on my gallery, most recently from the Pan Am Games, etc. Any help would be appreciated. you may ask from any referer from where you buyed it and moreover i think installing Picasa at your computer reduce some problem and occur with a great help and bounding or else try again with the task.
