Not sure if this is the right place for this, but here goes: I'm looking for something as a 'latest news banner', where I can put some information, for example that "ordering pictures is not working at the moment, or "Latest album: ". At the moment I'm using one of the blocks, but that is not really eye-catching. I also have the pages module, but that also isn't really what I'm looking for. |

I guess you need to know where this banner is going to go if not the sidebar. As well as if you want it on the root album only and how the user interface is going to be to add the 'news'.
