[WINDOWS] upgrade from G2 to G3, unable to install toolkit and import issue

Hello, Running Apache 2.2.14 and PHP 5.3.1 on Windows machine I've installed g3 and get a message about graphic toolkit missing. If I go to Settings,Graphics it states "no active toolkit" . Under Settings, Advanced I don't see anything listed about graphic toolkit. I have ImageMagick running fine on g2, what do I need to do here? I couldn't find a specific solution. Is there more info needed from my phpinfo that would help? Also, I've tried doing the g2 to g3 import and it hangs on a photo with a message about "Couldn't create a thumbnail or resize for xxxxx.JPG" This photo displays fine in my g2 install. How do I resolve this? Thanks! |

Try it from a Linux machine or figure out how to get the which command working on Windows or see this:

Thanks for the help. The links helped. I at least can see GD as an available toolkit now. ImageMagick states "ImageMagick is installed, but PHP's open_basedir restriction prevents Gallery from using it. "
My open_basedir is not enabled so not sure what is going on now. I installed latest version of IM into C:\IM folder and that didn't make a difference. What should I check or try next?

Try it from a Linux server as Linux is the only supported environment for Gallery 3
