g1_import issue - no images, errors in var/logs

I had a problem with the g1_import module going from 1.5.2 to 3.0.2. After what looked like an import without errors, I was left with albums and all of the appropriate metadata for the albums and images. The only thing missing were the actual pictures. There was a number of errors in the logs, including this "@todo EMPTY_INPUT_FILE".

As it turns out, my old gallery config.php contained paths that were soft links to the album directory (albumDir) and userDir. Changing these two settings to be the non soft link paths made the import succeed without error.
