I currently have Gallery running at marvinpics.com. Excellent product and have used it for several years. I now need to make marvinpics.com a "normal" web site with a index.html and then link to the gallery. The site I want to transfer is mabtest.com. How and what do I clear out of the root directory of the marvinpics.com to allow the site to become a "normal" web site and what would I use as a link to the gallery. I just can't afford the luxury of the two sites any longer.
Thanks,
Marvin

I'd just download G2 and see what files are in the root directory by default. I believe this is everything:
LICENSE
README.html
config.php
images
init.inc
lib
main.php
modules
themes
MANIFEST
bootstrap.inc
embed.php
index.php
install
locale
upgrade

I got that from one of my installs, but that could be missing something or have something extra that I forgot to remove.

Okay so I couldn't wait. I moved all the files you suggested to a folder "pics." Sorry but I am not a programmer but can follow directions fairly well for a guy. I didn't move the actual gallery just the files that were in the root. What mods do I have to make to any of the files that I moved and what would I use as a link from the web page?
Maybe it would be easier to leave them where they were. If I do how do I get the domain to hit the index.html file and not the index.php file?
Thanks so much for your help.

Hey nivekiam.......
Figured it out on my own. It works. Left the index.php in the other folder. A miracle happens everyday in my life and this is mine for today.
Thanks again.
