Pictures has 0KB after uploading them with webDAV

hello,
i just tried to upload pictures with webDAV (mac osx) to my server. after i copied them i got the files there but they got 0 Bytes. i only see them in my gallery with a broken image thumbnail.
anyone got an idea?
