'click to enter'

hi, I am hoping somebody can help.

I am pretty new to all of this but I am very happy with my results so far, however I do have one niggling problem. When I connect to the first page, the links at the top have 'portfolio' and a couple of extra pages. However, sometimes (tho not all the time) it goes to a page with a box on the right that says 'click to enter'. this seems to happen if you click the logo at the top on any page as well.

Ideally the website would open at the front page and then you could navigate thru to the other pages, but if you click the logo on any of the other pages it would go back to the front page, bypassing the 'click to enter' button as I am getting an extra page that I never made.

If anyone could off any advice as to why this is happening, and preferably a way around it, I would very much appreciate it.

I would need to see a url to understand what is happening. With steps to reproduce.

the website is:

See if the author of the theme can reproduce. Or update your GD theme to the latest version. I have not kept up to date with this theme.

The demo has that "click to enter" button on a home page (kind of like a splash page) that it looks like you're not using. There's likely a way to turn that page off in the theme options.

hi, thank you all for your suggestions as they led me to the solution on the theme options page. on there is a box:

Allow root page (Note: ImageBlock Ex Module need to be installed)

I unchecked that and it seems to have fixed the problem.
