I created an xml interface for a intranet application and want to transmit single images on request. How can I resolve the image path in the filesystem (../gallery2/g2data/cache/derivative/..) ? |

That's not how gallery2 works, the g2data is not even supposed to be web accessible.
We already have tools like mediaBlock that will deliver single or multiple items on demand.
Or the minislideshow that includes an xml generator to do the same.
Or even the slideshow pro OPML generator.
If these scripts cannot do the job you require, they contain examples of how to generate gallery urls.
