wordpress_auth module

Hello, I found a bridge called wordpress_auth, created by mp2300, and discussion over at http://gallery.menalto.com/node/97109. I was able to get wordpressdb up and running with the changes they specified in the topic. I'd prefer to try running wordpressfile but it wont activate and I'm not sure why.

Anyways, the db version is good enough but I have a couple concerns if you have time. I doesn't look like I'm able to change any permissions for any albums. I can view the permissions tables but clicking any of them results in nothing happening. Also it doesn't look like anybody else can upload, just administrators. On a vanilla g3 with vanilla wp, creating a new user as an Editor, Contributor, or Author results in nothing special, as in it looks like they have the same permissions as Guests. I'm not sure if there's a way to fix this or if I'm missing something?

Or, alternatively, is there another Wordpress authentication module that is being developed?
