Add Photo Menu Item Not Available

I am a true notice at configuring Open Source code..but determined to learn. I want users to be able to register and add photos and albums. For some reason, I see the option to Add Photos when logged in as admin. However when logged in as a registered user..these menu items are not available. I probably changed something..but I don't know how this happened. Thank you |

You need to configure permissions on the album you want users to add items to.
Best bet is to create groups, add users to those groups and then edit permissions to the album. Adding a group to a album to add items in the permissions dialog will be the way to go.
I'm sure that there is a permissions section in the docs:

Thank you. However I was hoping there was a way for new registered users to set up their own albums. For example, I invite some friends to upload their pictures to my site. The register,then upload photos. Looks like I may have to add them to group after they register, then set permission?

Try the registration module I'm sure you don't want just anybody registering and adding items.
