Greetings All, I'm Osyrys, I'm a 15 year veteran programmer in many languages. It's nice to meet all of you! I'm working on a page for someone http://www.juliettebelmonte.com/new2/index.php/, they have gallery installed.. I'm wondering a few things, I'm new to the forum, but not PHP or module based scripts. I'm looking for a couple things to be able to do here, and wondered if someone will help save hours of digging to find out how (or if) it can be done... 1). I'd like to be able to have a splash page for the index rather than having the gallery automatically be the first page that loads. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated, hope y'all had a great weekend. |

Are you sure this is G2 and not G3?

CRAP... My bad, I didn't realize the forums were separated by version, you're correct, it's G3, I'll repost there, unless the post for G2 works for me. Thanks, and sorry for the error...

One more question, if G2 and G3 work the same, will the code posted in that link...

stuff on root album only

work for the main page. I'm sorry, I'm new to using Gallery, so I'm just trying to get a feel for how to make it work... I understand that the above code will put my information on the index page if the $theme.parents is NULL, but what if there is something there, and how do I be sure that it's always NULL to show the information we want instead of that and galleries, or just galleries?
Hope that makes sense.

No noting in G2 and G3 are common except for some of the team.
