Admin-approved photos before posting module/hack wanted

Hi All,

I post this here as a search is revealing old posts with outdated mods and info pertaining to 2.x versions.

Is there an approved module or hack anyone has used to allow registered gallery users to upload photos, yet those images await admin approval before being seen on the web, for Gallery 3?
