Add caption under thumbnail

Is there a way to display the caption below the thumbnail picture?
The caption appears when you click on the image; however, I would also like it to display under the thumbnails.

Example: http://www.iwuvcats.com/pictures

Add:
<?= html::purify($child->description) ?> to album.html.php of your custom theme.
