Hello
Have installed Gallery 2 on website and its almost looking like we want it.
Using ebony but for some reason the text has gone bright blue and it can't be read. How can I change the font colour?
Want to show exif details and on one album it is working fine but on the other albums there is no box at the top to click for the photo info, what am I doing wrong please.
Is there any way I can add a descriptive box for the user to add where the photo was taken?
Thanks

Install the firebug plugin for the firefox and use this to inspect the css to change font colour if there is no setting in the theme to do this.

Or you can always use G2's embed API

Still can't seem to sort the font and you can't read it which seems a strange design flaw.
The exif details only show on one photo in one sub album !!!!

The gallery rare birds of britain is the only one with exif on the photo in the gallery but only on the bluethroat pic.
Thanks

Starting with the premise that the most simple and most obvious answer is usually the correct one, I'll say the reason why the exif data only shows on one item is because it was it is the only item with exif info attached to the picture.
Try the following first:
1. Deactivate and reactivate the Exif Module (I'll even go as far as uninstall and install). If the exif pops up after, then it was something to do with that module which this action will solve.
2. Temporarily activate the matrix theme as default. If we see exif data on the other items, then it is indeed something to do with Ebony and we can start trying to get to the bottom of this.
If after the two outlined steps things stay as they are, then you have to look at the images you uploaded again and verify that they include exif in the first place. Note that this does not mean a copy on your local disc but a download of the actual files from your g2data/album/etc/ folder.

These photos have been altered/cropped.
I'm betting what Dayo suspects is true - your photo editing software does not preserve exif.

Uninstalled no difference.
Tried Matrix and others no difference
and all edited the same way on photoshop elements9. Hoe can you check an image to see what the exif is?

I no longer use PSE nor PS, but know that exif data is stripped out if you use the "Save for Web" feature.
For info on viewing exif and other PSE9 specific issues, you will need to find a general photography forum where there would be sure to be many people that use PSE9.
Adobe also has a forum for PSE: http://forums.adobe.com/community/photoshop_elements
