Flickr-like clone theme and perhaps also integration with real Flickr API

I discovered an oldish topic (dated late 2008) about something called Glickr which was an attempt at creating a Flickr-like theme for Gallery2.

Now I realise Gallery 2 is superseded by Gallery 3 (my sites still run 2.x versions) and I was wondering if the Flickr-isation of Gallery2 was actually completed and is fully working?

I like flickr, but I hate their content censorship crap, so having gallery look like flickr would be good, particularly if someone has done work on making gallery able to utilise part or all of the flickr API in addition to just creating a flickr-like theme.

No, I've not seen any flickr-like theme that comes to mind for G2 nor for G3 yet. Though, IMO, it should be easier to develop such a look with G3.
