Hi there, I am running Gallery 2.3.1, with the Notifications 1.0.3 plugin enabled. I have been testing the plugin, and it works for some events, like "Comment Added". However, the "Item Added" event is not working as expected. I have a single "parent" album in my Gallery. I configured a user to watch that album and subscribe to the "Item Added" event. My expectation is that when a new sub-album is added, this notification would fire and an email would be sent. That is not happening. It does, however, trigger a "Album Structure Change" Event. In fact, it triggers four of them. (Perhaps some of those were in response to changing the Album properties.) And the email just says "Viewable Tree Change Event Occurred", giving no indication of what really happened; e.g.: a new album has been added. I also tried creating a new album and adding a photo to it. Again, the Item Added event was not fired, but the Album Structure Change event was (just once this time). Am I misunderstanding how "Item Added" should work? Is there a way to simply send a notification to the effect of "A new album has been added to album MyParentAlbum."? And is there any reason why end users would want to subscribe to "Album Structure Change", given that it contains no useful information? UPDATE: I applied the patch from http://gallery.menalto.com/node/82931 . Now what happens is this: So that's an improvement. However, I usually add albums with 60-70 photos at a time. I don't want it to fire a notification for every one of those photos; that's why I was hoping to have it only process the new album, and not the items within the album. Is this not possible? There seems to be a separate problem, in that the "Apply to sub items" box on the watch list is always checked, even though I keep unchecking it. The fact that it is forcing this option is why I did get an email for the new photo in the above test. Perhaps someone can comment on that as well, although I think I'd be better off reporting this in a separate forum thread, after I digest the issues with Item Added a little more. Thanks in advance,
