Image Path

Hello,

Can anyone please guide me i want to store the static image path into the database for each item instead of using main.php?g2_view=core.DownloadItem&g2_itemId=... command

I think i didnt explain it properly.

with every thumbnail it runs php file to upload the thumbnail ...can this be done using image path or something

Not normally with G2 as stated as this is how G2 operates the "Image Firewall" but you can change the core code to do this.

I use this on my site with my "Bypass" module (more of a patch).
You can read more of the Bypass Module here

Essentially, the "Image Firewall" can be bypassed which may, or may not, be an issue for you.

I withdrew the module back then but read that thread and let me know by PM if interested and I'll send you a download link.
