Last and random additions

I am loking at moving my club's gallery from Coppermine to Gallery 2 as I just cannot get my head around user accounts and categories, to get it to do what I would like.

However, our Chairman likes the Last and Random Additions featuire that you get with Coppermine.

Is it possible to do the same with gallery? If so, I'll be moving it! :)

I want something similar: basically the functionality of dynamicalbum with random images. However I noticed that for Gallery 3.0 there is no dynamicalbum, but just dynamic. And it misses the random album. Is there any particular reasons? How can I have the random album back?

This is the G2 section of the forum. You can try asking in the G3 section of the forum and perhaps someone looking there might be able to offer suggestions.
