categories and subcategories ????????

I am trying to set up Gallery 2 for a mass collection of photos. I need to make categories and subcategories then have the album contain the photos for the specific species.

As example - Turtles & reptiles - Turtles - Green Sea Turtle

Not sure this is possible with Gallery, hope it is, but not seeing how to do it.

Yes it can be done with G2 or G3.
Just create albums and put photos in those albums.
