Figured out how to install it..

How do you setup the Custom Product Settings ? I want to set individual prices for items. And is there away to change the text so reads add item to cart instead of add photo to cart?

My custom pages looks like this why?

Still got a couple of issues,
1. My cart goes to empty when i click continue to checkout
2. I am unable to enter a price as seen above

any idea on how to fix it?

Is this a version issue? Where can I get previous versions

Checkout by Paypal 0.4.0
Checkout 0.4.3

Item 2: Make sure you've put some products in the product table (site admin -> Checkout Configuration, see the big table marked "Products and Prices" - that's where the products go) - when you have some products listed, you'll be able to set custom prices.

Item 1: Post a link to your site, hard to tell what you're doing or not doing from that description

Remember, please, that checkout is designed to sell photos - not sculptures. That means that a product (which is something like an 8x10 print) is meant to be available for every image in the Gallery. It isn't designed to sell individual items and is very hard to configure in a meaningful way to sell individual items. Checkout isn't a general-purpose eCommerce package and I really really strongly recommend you use something else to sell things like works of art.

No evidence that anything's broken.

No - I suspect that it's a misunderstanding over what Checkout does, and how it works.

One other quick question how can I make the "add item to cart" only show up for the album not the individual pictures inside the album.

I am going to make a sub album inside of the artist name with each sculpture then put the pics under that.

As of right now the only way to get the add item to cart to show up anywhere is with the "Show 'Add to Cart' always" checked, then it shows up on each photo inside the albums

permissions are set to everybody for purchase under the album

Check the config page. There are settings for "treat album as item" and you can set your products to apply to albums "apply to album items" and not to other items - untick "apply to other items" - in the product table.

I can't recall if that removes the "add to cart" from under photos or not. If not, you'll have to hack some code.

I stress again that checkout isn't designed to do what you're doing, and so it's not going to do it very well.

Checkout handles albums in either of two ways. Either as an individual items in their own right or alternatively as a collection of photos. If you treat albums as collections of images then adding an album to the cart adds each contained item instead. Only products marked above as 'apply to Albums' will be offered for album items, and only products marked as 'Apply to Items' will be offered for non-album items such as photos.

Treat Albums as collections of contained images

This is all I have as an option... Which adds everything inside the album to the cart

make sure that "treat album as collections of contained images" is unchecked.
