Install 2.3.1 error

I'm trying to install gallery2 on my sever but get the following error. Warning: putenv(): Warning: Cannot set environment variable 'LANG' - it's not in the allowed list (setting: safe_mode_allowed_env_vars) in /customers/happybeast.dk/happybeast.dk/httpd.www/happy/gallery2/modules/core/classes/GalleryTranslator.class on line 306 Warning: putenv(): Warning: Cannot set environment variable 'LANGUAGE' - it's not in the allowed list (setting: safe_mode_allowed_env_vars) in /customers/happybeast.dk/happybeast.dk/httpd.www/happy/gallery2/modules/core/classes/GalleryTranslator.class on line 307 Search the forum to find an answer and it says it's safe_mode must be off. safe_mode is set to off. see picture info.php is here if it helps http://www.happybeast.dk/info.php

You have these issues because you are using the Suhosin patched version of php.
You need to review your Suhosin configuration.

Thanks for you replay, but I don't know what "Suhosin patched version of php" is. It must be on the server?
Can you give me a hint of what to change, so that I can ask my host to change it?

I talked with my host and they can't turn off the Suhosin stuf

PHP-Suhosin offers a lot of security ... similar to how wearing a medieval metal suit of armour offers a lot of security.
Most people however prefer to go about their lives without the extra security a metal suit of armour brings because it is simply a big PITA to wear one all the time and they will have to forgo a lot of activities.
So I think your choices are either to forgo installing Gallery, modifying Gallery to work within the restrictions by dropping some of its functionality, getting your host to adjust Suhosin, or finding a new host.
I suggest the last option.
