I have a Gallery instance up and running on chicagostoneshop.com (no previous website there). I have a webpage on granitesealingservice.com, and want an independent G3 instance there. I uploaded the 3.0.1 menlo park zipfile, unpacked it, left it named as gallery3, created var folder, changed permissions to 777, created a phpinfo.php, created a new sql database, and when I went to granitesealingservice.com/gallery3, get 404. My service is shared hosting, if that matters. I have several domains on this service, and used RVSitebuilder on one of them to build a site but published the site to a different domain name, and just saw that the site files are NOT sitting in granitesealingservice.com, which is published and active. I don't know if this matters. ------------------------------------------------------------------ |

Look in the program you use to upload files and see what the name of the directory is.

For G3 I used the upload function in cpanel, same as I did for the working G3 at chicagostoneshop.com/gallery, so unless I'm missing something, there's nothing to look at. The non-working Gallery instance is sitting in granitesealingservice, and looks like my other instance, except the var folder is empty; everything seemed to go just fine.
Check out the screenshots, and let me know what you think.

Talk to your and get more familiar with how they are setup, because according to the screenshot you posted there shouldn't be ANYTHING here except for 2 directories and a zip file:

Yet, as you can see, there is.
