Zip binary configuration help

I was trying to load the zip binary on Gallery2 (http://gallery.menalto.com/) on my webhost (unix) and kept getting the error “The path you entered isn't valid or isn't executable”. I’ve tried the same method on my localhost via Xampp and it works fine. It doesn’t seem to be taking in the .exe.

It’s requesting for full paths and I tried “/home/httpd/vhosts/manic.com.sg/subdomains/clients/httpdocs/pml/gallery/plugins/zip.exe” and even “http://clients.manic.com.sg/pml/gallery/main.php/plugins/zip.exe” doesn’t work and kept prompting that message. I also tried pointed to the file on my local “C:\Users\Manic\Desktop\plugins\zip.exe”, which worked on xampp and was supposed to be the right way but it still gave the same message.

I’ve checked with my webhost guys regarding the php settings of the server and they said it's fine and they are unable to help because this is a 3rd party software. Would really appreciate some help, please!

*.exe is a executable windows binary, use a unix binary instead I'm sure your server already has tar.
