Comments layout

Hi Guys,

in the Matrix theme I use, there are two main possibilities to view comments
a) when I add "show comments" block to photo page, I can see "Recent comments" under my photo, which mean last three comments, latest on top. In this view comments are presented very nice, each comment in a separate grey rectange, comment text justified to the left, comment info in italics, justified to the right - very readable
b) I can also click "View all X comments" in "Recent comments", which really shows all comments, but the layout is much worse - comment info is left-justified and written in plain text, so it looks exactly like a comment text.

Is there any simple way to change "All comments" layaout to the same as "Recent comments"?

Or... is it possible to view all comments with oldest on the top right under the photo instead of "Recent comments" - just like it was in G1?
