the site is "quite" slow though...
The bad performance is caused by my old site running postnuke 0.726 thats causing the DB to slow down Thats why I upgrade everything. Don't worry about this.
I ran into a problem with admin rights.
Being logged in as admin on my postnuke site I click on the link for gallery. But I don't have any adminlinks available in the G2 Sideblock. Also if I klick on a link (e.g. klick on "Add album to cart") I get an error line saying "Module pnGallery2index.php?module=pnGallery2 not available".
Has anybody a solution to this ?

technobonn, to date, there haven't been any postnuke posts in the G2 forums for a loong time. So I don't think you'll find here any experienced postnuke/G2 user.
what about HDTVtotal.com ? are the forums there still active, do you get answers?

don't know, have to post on HDTVtotal.com first
Hope there's help ...

I started a thread in PostNuke forums, I hope somebody is willing to pick up the development:

I picked up development and have finished it. I will fine-tune it this week and put it up for download somewhere on the internet.
The website on which I am using gallery 2 is completely in Dutch so I don't think you all are able to view the demo because of this foreign language.
If I have uploaded everything I will post it here!

justed, well that's what i call great news!

By the way, I will create a postnuke block with it to display random pictures, latest picture etc. just like you can do within gallery 2
Now I'm just hoping that the integration API won't change that much in the future, that will save me a lot of work (spend 20 hours on integrating gallery 2 in postnuke :S).

Im setting up a site for postnuke modules. I will gladly host the download.

Justed , Great News !!!
Demo linkje zou toch wel leuk zijn hoor

Hey tycho! Yes great news vind je niet
The website on which it's running is a production website, you can watch gallery 2 running, but I don't really want users to register on my website just because there interested in the postnuke integration.
I will create a subdomain http://pngallery.aciweb.nl/ at my webserver this weekend so you can register and test and play around with gallery 2 in nuke. Users of my website have found a few bugs in the integration so I will not be releasing it yet. I will use the english language for this demo website so everybody can understand what's on it.
As soon as I've got the real demo running I will post a message in this forum.

I just had a quick look at your gallery and its looking good :D

Thanx Tycho!
In the mean time I have created the subdomain, will be uploading the demo website, on which everybody can register and play around, this weekend.
So keep your eyes on http://pngallery.aciweb.nl/

The demo is online at http://pngallery.aciweb.nl/

all users are admins in the pnGallery ;)
but it's great to see some advancements.

Hmm, I created a test account. At first I saw a site admin link, when I pressed this link I got the message that I don't have acces to it, when I returned the admin link was gone.
When the user is created it's only inserted into the registered users en everybody group, not the admin group. Very strange :s

Yes, great , great news.

hmm, when I go to the site I get gallery admin, even though I'm not logged in.
The link works fine and I get the admin options.

I just installed the latest beta of G2 into the modules directory of PostNuke - how could I now integrate it?
Thanks!

is there any news about Postnuke integration? Does justed gave his good work up?
I'll be waiting for G2 since months, and I was glad to see, that hdtv picked up this job, but only offered a half working version, and never answered in his Forum, justed started his pngallery2 page and it seems like working, but never answered again in his forum, never seen a download,....
When a nice integration is available for postnuke?

It is very sad that there are newer and newer versions of G2 and PostNuke integration is still not working.
I know, I know, there is nobody to pick up this job, which is certainly very sad
*sigh*

tradenet, twitch:
What are you talking about? I am kind of lost, since no work of integrating G2 has done for months now

I just saw the site where he has started integrating it into Postnuke

I have pnGallery2 from the HDTV site installed on my site. I managed to upgrade it to the latest release (rc1), but the other pnGallery2 doesn't integrate users. That's what I need at this point: a way to get my PostNuke users turned into Registered Users of pnG2.

Yeah,i have been waiting for months for this integration as well. =( Everyone keeps saying there waiting for a final version before they integrate it, but why in the world does every other CMS have it then?!?!
Having read that the G2 final version will not last long I wonder if justed's work is finished - that would make it easier to me in upgrading

My eyes are glued. :o

both, gallery2 and postnuke .76(new pnApi and the xanthia thing) was not stable, and still both are Release Candidates, and what I read in the pn communitys is that the Mod developers all waiting for a stable .76 before their fixing all their modules to work pnapi compatible(pn .76 compatible),... I understand developers waiting before doing the work over and over again,...
still I am waitig since months for G2 integration, tough!
My guess is that both gallery and pn .76 are beeing kinda stable meanwhile therefore I hope the integration developers picking up the worksoon, and help the pngallery users to work with the next level of Gallery! ;))
hopefully soon!!!

from G2's point of view, there's no reason to wait any longer. there won't be any changes in G 2.0, it's just a matter of a few weeks.

Postnuke 0.760 final has just been released, so let's hope for a quick integration )

Yeah guys, hurry up, integrate. =P

The problem is... is anybody still working on integration?
Doesnt seem like it. Sad that a such widely used CMS and probably the most popular Gallery script out there isnt even being worked on for integration.

If I could do the integration I would because I'd love to see G2 running on Postnuke .760. G2 really looks nice. Thanks developers.

So is the "Features" page for Gallery 2.0 incorrect when it says they support integration with PostNuke? Because I certainly can't get it to work...
If that page is really incorrect it should definitely be updated. I spent four hours tonight trying to make this work based on the promise of that page.

No, those features are for Gallery 1 - there is a link on that page to compare those features with Gallery 2.

Anybody making any progress on this? I've been itching for it for my site.

Right, it clearly says: "The detailed information below pertains to Gallery 1."

PostNuke .760 has been officially released for sometime now.
Could someone please integrate Gallery 2 with PostNuke .760 ?

Would be nice.

Same here, a few months back I tested with pnGallery2 but that project seems to have died.

Have the God's forsaken us? Will we have no integration support?

If I could code, I'd attempt it... best I can offer is I will help test the integration if someone else can code it.
