I’m a big fan of the gallery software. I use it to host my mom’s photo album. She loves it!

I’m running a rather out of date version 1.4.4.

I see in the FAQ instructions to upgrade from 2.x to 3.x. How can I upgrade 1.x to 2.x?

Is there a doc you can point me to for upgrading such an old version?

Hi -

I've been running Gallery 1.5 successfully for many years on a Linux server running PHP 4.3.11 and Apache 2.0.51.

My server provider is pressuring me to migrate to an upgraded server running PHP 5.3.3 and Apache 2.2.15.

Would you expect that I would be able to port my old Gallery installation to this new server?

I'm following the instructions on Modules:folder_sync but they make no sense with the version I have installed (1.5.10).

Is there another way of importing all of my current images to Gallery?

Does Gallery work if you are a Mac user, using a Parallels Desktop?
