I wasn't able to post to the previous thread here http://gallery.menalto.com/node/89471 so I'm starting a new one.

I've made some modifications to one of the files. This should help those with many images to tag.

To use this modification,
1. Download the attached file and rename it batchtag.php
2. Replace the file batchtag/controllers/batchtag.php with the one downloaded from here

batchtag.php_.txt4.93 KB

What are the improvements?

If you try to batchtag a large album, it will run and "stop" with a blank page.

I've modified it to only tag 50 at a time. If it is still too much, and it "stops", there will also be a "continue" link to allow resuming.

OK cool!
Let rWatcher know and perhaps he will add your changes to the GIT repository .
I think the best way is create your own fork and then they ca be merged to the -contrib repository.
Thanks for your contribution. :-)

Dave

I pulled sykong's changes into the contrib repo. @sykong, you might consider using the tasks framework for batch tagging instead of what you're doing now since that supports pause/resume and has a built-in UI.
