are there more searches inside REST?

Right now I know REST can search for random, but has the ability been added to search for things like "latest" or by date in general? I'm trying to create a plugin that searches via REST to find latest photo and latest album, but I have to first load every album/photo into json, then find the latest one out of that return. Just curious if there is some search criteria in REST I'm missing. thanks, |

Please file a ticket for each individual search that you'd like to do and we'll implement them for you (probably not until after the 3.0 release goes out though -- trying to keep unnecessary changes down for now).
