Error (ERROR_BAD_DATA_TYPE, ERROR_TOOLKIT_FAILURE)
in modules/imagemagick/classes/ImageMagickToolkit.class at line 167 (gallerystatus::error)
in modules/imagemagick/classes/ImageMagickToolkit.class at line 56 (imagemagicktoolkit::_getimagedimensions)
in modules/core/classes/GalleryPhotoItem.class at line 131 (imagemagicktoolkit::getproperty)
in modules/core/classes/GalleryItemHelper.class at line 378 (galleryphotoitem::create)
in modules/core/ItemAddChildren.inc at line 146 (galleryitemhelper::additemtoalbum)
in main.php at line 146 (itemaddchildrencontroller::handlerequest)
in main.php at line 24

I get this when trying to upload some items. So make it, some don't.

I figured it might be filenames, so I renamed all the files with a new prefix, but that didn't work.

Any ideas?

What version of PHP are you using? Put your G2 in config mode and post your URL and admin password here and we'll try it out.

I found the error to be in several incomplete JPGs.
