You say the groups should match or it'll mess this up. I thought admin, registered & guest would all be automatic. I created 2 new groups in both sites...family & moderator. But I didn't think about my username being Admin in one & Dawn in the other.
I was the only user when I did this. Afterwards there was at least 2 admin groups & both Admin & Dawn were members of only one. I deleted Admin & switched everything to Dawn & tried again. There's still 2 admin groups & now Dawn's a member of each. Also on Gallery2 permissions Site Admins have access to everything & the user Dawn has access to everything. So I switched admin to site admins, deleted Dawn from admin then deleted the role admin. I'm extremely lucky I didn't delete myself as admin from one of these 2 sites.
Also although I've created a few albums & uploaded a few pics there's nothing showing up on my profile...except no user albums created. How do you designate an album as your user album? I don't think the instructions say anything about going over to Gallery2 to set up user albums to be created either as a member's joined or upon entering the gallery. So now I guess admins don't get user albums...at least not ones that show up on their profile.
Also for some reason albums created there are showing up in my drupal navigation. I don't want them to. Because gallery's at the top next to home. Even if it was on the side there could be a lot of albums. I turned on the block so that the menu would show up on drupal if people click on the link gallery. The list of albums isn't going on the block...not that I want it to. It's showing up in my regular navigation menu.
Also...if you click on the link gallery fine but if you start trying to look at individual pics or try to upload from the drupal embeded gallery the page goes all out of whack. In the very same browser mind you...simply 2 different tabs...one has the theme looking normal & the other looks huge. Evidently one tab's working off one style sheet & the other one's working off the other one. Yet it still don't help when it comes to knocking these tables out of whack.
And I know there's links to articles that teach you about themes & css but is there anything simpler for non-programmers with bad eyes to boot?
