Gallery 3 on Apache or LightTPD ?

Hello, I tried Gallery 3 beta on my private lan with LightTPD server on Ubuntu, and I met problems with individual uploads. But no problem with Directory upload.
I dit a new test with Apache2 on Ubuntu and everything is well.
My problem is that I have a Gallery2 application on public internet and my web hosting is with LightTPD. Does that mean that I shall not be able to update my G2 application without find an other webhosting ?
I hope there will be a solution because Gallery3 is pretty good ! Bravo !

I cannot get into my gallery! I am locked out by not having the correct password! I am not suppose to have a password on the gallery!

Gallery 3 is only supported on Apache, Linux, MySQL 5.x+ and PHP 5.2.3+

If you want something supported and working well, you'll need to find another host that is using Apache.
