Missing reCaptchas

I hope this hasn't been posted - a search on SF and here didn't yield anything. I'm working with the latest gallery 3beta3. Everything seems to be working pretty well, the occasional error here and there. However, one thing that I seem to be noticing is that the reCaptchas sometimes just don't show appear for comments. I've tested it in Firefox, which seems to work 100% of the time for me, but in IE or Chrome you can leave comments as a guest without needing to fill in a captcha; sometimes it won't even load, and you can post a comment. If it loads, you can just keep trying until it disappears and then you post no problem. Any thoughts?
