For anyone who might be interested, I've just uploaded a new module called "VideoDimensions". This module will allow you to manually edit the height and width of a video, a feature I find useful as I don't have ffmpeg on my server. It has been tested against Gallery 3.0.2. It can be downloaded from this post, or from my github at:
http://github.com/rWatcher/gallery3-contrib/

I've also set up a wiki page at:
http://codex.gallery2.org/Gallery3:Modules:videodimensions

rWatcher,

Thanks for the nice simple mod. I needed the ability to modify thumbnail sizes in addition to video size, and I was getting tired of entering the same sizes repeatedly for my zero sized videos, so I made a few tweaks. Feel free to use them if you like!

UPDATE: recent upgrades to Gallery have made this module obsolete. If you're currently using it, we recommend that you deactivate it. For more information, please see the documentation page at http://codex.galleryproject.org/Gallery3:User_guide:Obsolete_modules.
