I am just curious of there is a way to make it so that myself can look at all albums but users can only look at there own and my public albums and guests can only see my public stuff. I looked in the FAQ and the forum and cannot find my answer. So if i just overlooked something please point it out to me so I wont bother anyone. Thanks for the help and clearing up my ignorance.

disregard the disregard, it doesn't work the way I want to
It seems that when a registered user goes to "my album" it doesn't work. Goes to a 404

Need more info. What do you mean by "My Album"? Are you using the User Albums plugin?

Yes. I will try and be more in depth. What I want is for anyone, guest or registered, to come to the site and see public albums. The way it is now, if you go, you have to login to see the public albums. I dont want people to register, I want to create the accounts. Any suggestions?

Admin can always see all albums. You cannot change that.
To make private albums, edit permissions and remove the Everybody permission from viewing.
For public albums, leave everything they way Gallery ships "out of the box", but it sounds like you've changed that. So to fix that. Edit Permissions and give Everybody view permissions.
Then go to the specific albums you want to disallow people to have access to, click Edit Permissions for that album and remove Everybody and add the users or groups to that album you want to view.
Please ask if you need more detail.

All right, I thought that I did that, but I will double check and change anything that needs to be changed. Would this cause a problem for a guest coming to view the site and only getting the login?

Fixed that issue where permissions are changed, but when people go to site it still requires a login.

On your main page, click Edit Permissions and make sure that the Everybody group has permission to view items. You probably want to make sure that the Apply Changes check box is NOT checked.

that doesn't seem to work. Are you willing to go in and check to see what the issue is. I will PM you with admin access if you are willing.

Sure, but I may end up resetting all of your permissions.
