Import from G2 Hangs

I'm trying to get my G2 (2.2.2) gallery moved into G3 (latest git pull) -- but the import process stalls.

If I clear the g2_maps table, the import will stall at "Importing albums (39 of 41)".

The last line in the /var/logs is 2009-07-05 12:26:40 -05:00 --- error: title: 103_0343

If I pull 103_0343.jpg out of it's directory it will error on the next file in that directory. If I pull all images out of that directory it does get to importing pictures, but uses a place holder, and still crashes when it gets to the next 'existing' image.

Any idea why it would stall here, or how to debug further?

Thanks,

-Michael

FIXED: I renamed the gallery3/var directory to var.bak, deleted the gallery3 database, and did a reinstall ( then enable import_g2 module, set path, start import).

I think the problem was caused by some sort of DB inconsistency caused by my initial import attempts/failures with Gallery3 Beta1.

Weird! But glad to hear that you resolved it.

I am having this same issue. I hangs at random spots. I have 13073 photos. I attempted to rename var and delete the database but it has happened three times now. I am running Running G3RC2.

Try and experimental version of G3. Link for upgrading in Bharats signature.
Your G2 must be working and should be at G2.3 as well.
