G3 Beta - Fatal Error After Install

Running the G3 installer, I use the following:

Database Name: gallery
User: xxxxxx
Password: xxxxx
Host: localhost:/tmp/mysql5.sock
Table Prefix: <blank>

The next page tells me the installation is a success. When following the link to "Start Using Gallery", it directs me to the "../gallery/" path, and comes up with a blank screen with the title saying "Fatal Error".

Any ideas on what might cause this? Do you need any more information?

We've fixed a bunch of issues related to this. Can you try with the latest code (instructions below).
