How do I import from 1?

Sorry . . . others are describing problems importing to 3 from 2 but I can't even find where to initiate the process. Am I blind? Also, I'm running Gallery 1. Is an import even possible?

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that they will never support upgrading from 1 to 3. You'll probably have to go the route I'm going to choose: 1 --> 2 --> 3.
I knew I installed that test install of version 2 for some reason... :)

Once the server add module is fixed/rewritten you will be able to import items from G1, but not the meta data with it. Perhaps in the future when G3 is stable a developer or community member will write a module to do just that.
