hangs when I try to rebuild images (matinance), or move pictures

When I try to move images or rebuild images (I'm guessing thumbnails) it hangs and wont let me get it done. I was thinking the thumbs should be built when uploading, but am I wrong? Thanks, FJMF |

It hangs also in my environment.
