Will Gallery 2 support Google Map Plotting?

Is there a way to assign a Google map within the Gallery to plot coordinates of either an individual photo or an album and have it show on the corresponding photo/album page? If it matters, I am using the Chrome theme.
Thanks.

Thank you, Suprsidr, for such a quick response and the link. Will study it out and I hope to be up and running soon. :))
Much appreciated.

Well, this is a bit over my head. I don't know what to download. I have v2.3.

I don't want to replace my current "Chrome" theme; and it looks like the downloads "Google Map Theme for Gallery 2*" would include their own themes and replace mine.

The downloads Map Module v2.1.x Download is a zip file, but there is no "Readme" or .txt file of what to do with it. I assume you would just extract to the general Gallery folder, but I don't want unexpected surprises.

The "Google Map Module for Gallery 2.2+ (also available via Downloadable Plugins for Gallery 2.2+" seems to be the plug-ins update that I downloaded from the Admin, which I understand how to install those, but I see nothing in the updated list of plug-ins about Google maps, only sitemap - which is another question, but I'll deal with it separately.

Apologies for the details, but I don't want to inadvertently write over what I am now satisfied with or complicate my site over my knowledge.

I'm also not clear if the Google Map module is still in beta form; and if so, I would rather wait till it's ready for general-user use.

I very well could be missing something, but I'm getting the impression it is a bit "more" than I had in mind.

If there is something simple that I'm missing please let me know.

Thanks for muddling through reading all this if you made it this far. :)

I have updated the plugins and do not see Google Maps listed. To be sure I wasn't overlooking it, while on the plug in page, I did a page search for "map" and only sitemap was found. Guess I don't need to plot them anyway. It would just be something else to do. :)
But thanks for your assistance!

Woo-hoo! I found it! THANK YOU!!
Got it downloaded, installed and activated and applied it to an album. I have it set to appear as a mini map on the Album Page and coordinates displayed, but it looks like you can't interact with that view, have to go to the map view. The map view defaults to 0 zoom, and I see no place to control that.
This will work!
Thank you very, very much for your patience, Suprsidr!!
