Fresh install: Exception "FORBIDDEN"

Hi there,

I just installed G3 alpha 4 on my Ubuntu LAMP server with these specs:

  • PHP 5.2.6-2ubuntu4.2 (Suhosin Patch 0.9.6.2)
  • MySQL 5.0.67-0ubuntu6
  • Apache 2.2.9

The installation works perfectly, but I get this error when I try to change my password, upload a photo or do basically anything:

core/helpers/access.php [176]:
@todo FORBIDDEN

The installation is at http://amultamedia.net/gallery3/. I had the same problem with G3 A3. G2 works fine on this same server.

Does anybody have any suggestions? Thanks for your help.

Never mind - Something about the Safari 4 beta on my Mac seems to be breaking it. Firefox works fine.

The Safari thing might be a bug, but I don't quite know enough about session cookies (if that's what G3 uses) to know for sure.

Thanks for the info. When Safari 4 goes out of beta if this is still happening we'll investigate more closely.

not only the Beta - the offical Safari - at least on OS X 10.5.7 - shows the same issue ... was nearly getting crazy until figuring this out ;)

Thanks for the info. I filed this ticket: http://apps.sourceforge.net/trac/gallery/ticket/284 but I don't have an OSX box to test it out now.
