I know it's just me- but I can't figure out what the default admin password is.

I have installed alpha 2 and got through the web based install completely, but along the way I was never prompted to create an account. I show an admin user in the DB, what is the default password? |

Presuming you're talking about Gallery3, I'm moving this to the appropriate forum.

There wasn't a default password in A2, it was and I believe still is randomly generated in A3. The installer told you what it was and told you to copy it down. Probably just missed that screen.
Scrap what you've done and install Alpha 3, improvements that have been made.

Afraid of what? This is alpha software, it's not even in Beta yet. You're just testing it. Should take less than 5 minutes to wget http://downloads.sourceforge.net/gallery/gallery-3.0-alpha-3.zip, then unzip gallery-3.0-alpha-3.zip and install it.
