setting Gallery as Drupal's first page

Gallery installed at /Gallery2

Drupal installed at /Drupal with a link to Gallery2

Gallery visible at /Drupal/Gallery2

I have not been successful in making Drupal start with Gallery as the first page.

Any comments would be appreciated.

have a look at
http://your.site/?q=en/admin/settings/site-information
the last setting on that page is "Default front page:"
