Import standalone Gallery2 database into Drupal Gallery Integration

I have a gallery only site and a gallery/drupal integrated site. Both sites are running gallery 2.3 with latest updates and are on the same server.

I would like to import all of the content from the standalone gallery into the itegrated drupal/gallery. I have copied the gallery data folder and imported the database using mysqldump. I got the import to go through and could access it to view from www.website.com/gallery2 but couldn't get back into drupal admin or gallery admin. Not sure if this is the right thing but I ran the gallery installer after importing.

I changed over ownership of data files/folders to target account and chmod them to 777.

Please help or point me to the solution if you can.
