disabling automatic album creation in G2 when registering in Wordpress

Hi! I've got Gallery2 integrated with Wordpress, and starting to look like I want (though I still have to mod the php to get the font size back up). And G2 is picking up the registration information from WP accurately. What I want to do is disable the automatic album generation on registration, while retaining the ability of a registered subscriber/member to create an album without re-registering separately in G2 (and thus having to re-log in to G2 to create/administer their own albums after already loggin into the WP site). Right now, G2 is creating empty albums for everyone that signs up on the site, whether they are going to put pictures in them or not.

In short, I want a new member to be able to register in WP, and when they navigate to the gallery page, they then have the sidebar option of creating an album, based on their user registration.
